The Noel Buxton Trust is an independent grant-making charity working in the UK and Africa

Our work is guided by the principle that ‘…the Trust should pursue philanthropic action and reforms supporting the welfare of marginalised groups, with the aim of achieving the maximum good for all people.’

Update on recruiting a new manager for the Noel Buxton Trust

As of 5 December, we have closed the recruitment to new applicants.

If you have received an acknowledgement from us, your application is now being assessed.

Thanks to everyone who has applied. We have been delighted to see such interest from so many talented people.

We support charities promoting sustainable livelihoods in Africa and  charities working with families and with prisoners in Britain.

We have guidelines that set out what we can fund.

Please read our guidelines carefully before deciding to apply for a grant.
